Download Rubus

Clean business charts for PowerPoint and Excel. Rubus runs inside Office and updates itself.

Needs Microsoft 365, Office 2024, or PowerPoint 16.64+ on a Mac. Office 2019 and 2021 can't insert Rubus charts.

Windows

PowerPoint from Microsoft 365 or 2024 · Excel from Microsoft 365 or 2021+

Download for Windows
  1. Right-click the zip, choose Extract All, open the folder.
  2. Double-click Add Rubus.cmd. If Windows warns you: More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Reopen PowerPoint. The first time: Home → Add-ins, and pick Rubus under Developer Add-ins. The button is then on the Home tab.

Office 2021: Insert → My Add-ins → Developer Add-ins, pick Rubus, Add.

Mac

PowerPoint 16.64+ · Excel 16.24+ · open PowerPoint once first

Quickest: one line in Terminal

  1. Quit PowerPoint (Cmd+Q).
  2. Open Terminal (Cmd+Space, type Terminal, Return).
  3. Paste this and press Return:
    curl -fsSL https://app.rubuschart.com/add-mac.sh | bash
  4. Open PowerPoint. Rubus is on the Home tab.

Double-click Add Rubus.command. When the Mac says Apple could not verify it, click Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. The Read me inside has every step.
